This unit is intended to have a cinema camera installed inside and acted as a soundproof housing when shooting sound and dialogue with the picture.

This was the system used in the mid-20th century for sync sound filmmaking.

This factory correct original camera housing is complete and in excellent condition with almost no use on the movie set.
Beautifully made by hand in Germany.

Included is the factory correct eyepiece, the zoom lens front housing, 400 foot film magazine capability and other basic accessories.

A cinema camera, tripod head or tripod legs are NOT included with this item, but available. The small head base shown is NOT included as this was how it was displayed in our gallery recently. Other stone or wood bases available at no extra charge.

This large 16mm cinematography camera housing makes for a great display sculpture on its own. It can be mounted on a vintage tripod at extra cost or just displayed on your pedestal or table or cabinet as a very significant artifact.

We can electrify this camera housing at no extra charge, so the front lens port puts forth a soft glowing light to serve as a lamp or for another repurposed display use.
