Submitted for your approval is this very early and rare hand held TV portable camera made by Ikegami in Japan. Circa 1960’s, this camera kit is complete and shows almost no use as it was a salesman’s demonstrator sample.
Ikegami was the leading video camera manufacturer in the early days of portable electronic news gathering.
Their famous name for portable TV News cameras was “The Handy Looky”
A very hard to find early example and the camera can be tripod mounted for a wonderful early TV News display camera.
