Offered for your serious consideration is this Circa 1920’s 16mm KODASCOPE MODEL ‘C’ CINEMA PROJECTOR.
This is the first 16mm home movie projector introduced in 1924 by Eastman Kodak for use with their new 16mm film format.
The Kodascope model C was manufactured by Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York and patented in September, 1924.
It is a hand crank projector with original crank included and has the original black bodied Kodak glass projection lens and the original wire cage ventilated housing for the lamp.
This is a massively built, yet compact piece and is in excellent original condition.
It is the first one of these we have found and a rare example of an archaic and very collectible Kodak piece.
This special antique is sold for display purposes but is complete, unmolested and all original.
