DECO STYLE MOVIE THEATER PAIR OF WALL LIGHT SCONCES MOUNTED ON WOOD PANELS

Submitted for your consideration is this pair of Deco style mounted wall sconces.

The original main aluminum metal castings appear to be old as do some of the electrical components and fasteners. We feel these have likely been re plated or refinished in recent times and then mounted on nice ‘door’ panels of cherry wood.

The shade is a die cut thin translucent plastic material that is curve bent to easily slip into the metal casting base for the pictured appearance. Quite a good look actually.

While not unmolested originals, these vintage looking sconces offer a terrific look for your screening or media room and any room needing a pair old Hollywood looking vintage decorative wall sconces.

They do show a great Deco looking form and the look is definitely from a vintage Deco movie theater.

Each sconce has an A4 household lamp socket as well as two other ‘nite light’ miniature sized screw in sockets to add various touches of color that may fit your room decor. Change the lamps, change the look and color.

Our source tells us that these originally came out of a mid century movie theater mounted as lobby sconces. Over the years they have been cleaned, refinished or re polished and wood framed panel mounted, but we do see deep evidence of age in the design, some original fasteners and brass electrical sockets.
