This is a very special original ‘SIGNED’ movie poster of the 1949 MIGHTY JOE YOUNG film directed by Ernest Schoedsack with FX by Willis O’Brien and the iconic RAY HARRYHAUSEN.
It is a one sheet (27″ x41″ size) that is linen backed and in Fine condition. It will be delivered rolled and H.D. tubed.
The actual and physical poster always looks better in person than the representation we post in our gallery site.
What makes this piece even MORE SPECIAL is that it is autographed and signed to “Wayne (?)” by model maker and FX master, “MARCEL DELGADO”, who did models and other work on this film and also on King Kong, The Wizard of Oz, War of the Worlds, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, etc.
Attached is an enlarged non color correct poster section with the readable autograph. Delgado passed away 2 years after he signed this autograph.
