For your consideration this is a factory original, Circa 1949 motion picture optical sound on film amplifier for a most unique display at home or at the office or studio.

Newsreel 16mm cinema films were shot with the optical sound track being recorded on the film while the cinema image picture was being shot in the 1940s.

This appears to be a working factory correct NR-24 optical sound recording amplifier. It is in the factory original color and finish and still has the wiring harness in place to attach to the sound on film system.

This unit has a tremendous look for display and fits nicely on a desk or in a bookcase.
