1950S HOLLYWOOD FEATURE FILM CINEMA MAGAZINE. MOUNTED AS SCULPTURE ON STONE.

1950S HOLLYWOOD FEATURE FILM CINEMA MAGAZINE. MOUNTED AS SCULPTURE ON STONE.

$1,000.00

Submitted for your consideration, this circa mid-1950s Arriflex 35mm feature film vintage 400′ capacity film magazine.

Same model as used by Stanley Kubrick in the 1950s. Unexposed film was loaded in this magazine and then it was fitted on the camera so the film could be shot. Most likely from Universal Studios as some ‘mags’ in our purchase had the “Universal” name stenciled clearly. Loaded with yellow leader film for display and mounted on a polished stone slab with felt feet.

The magazine door is included and the piece can be displayed with or without the door. This gorgeous piece can be displayed from the front or back and with or without the door. An iconic piece of Mid-Century Hollywood. For home, screening room, office display. Soon these will be all gone.
