This is the last year for the MG-TD
and this model is the
MG-TD2

The TD-2 was the latest and last model TD
and had the larger 8 inch factory clutch.

The last model in a series of
appreciating classics for
the 1953 models.

This car was always cared for from new by the same family
and was never

It was delivered as a 1953 MG-TD2.
It was shipped to the USA and bought
and owned by the original buyer family,
kept and driven properly by them
and eventually,
totally restored by them
at a professional European
Classic restoration shop

In the owners opinion
this is as close to perfect
as you will find anywhere.

No body rust, short cuts, backyard shade tree work.

Bring your magnifying glass
for this one!

Adult owned.

Most ‘bargain’ TD cars for sale are junk boxes, rusted out, mildewed, rotted out or
very incorrect, or look just ‘ok’ at 25′ away, but NOT up close,
or they are
replica level bastardizations, or
need a full $70,000.00 restoration.

Look close at the junk
or semi junk out there.

You get what you pay for… Always!

This car has had all the work done!

Never exposed to rain or snow.
Never hosed washed but sponge and bucket only.

Only Griots, Meguiars, Mothers detail
products used in owners ‘pro’ detail shop/garage.
No high speed buffers ever used
but only random orbitals
with foam or wool pads
to keep paint like new.

Top and side curtains are new Haartz canvas
with new side windows and side curtains.
Five fully treaded & correct factory size approved
Vredestein tires.

Tonneau cover and spare tire cover are new.

Correct wheels; correct hub caps;
correct original engine; matching numbers;
rust free; fabulous in every way.

Look at the others for sale
and you will find that they are not correct
and they are rough or
come from junk yard
level cars.

This car is a rare diamond!!!!!!!

Detailed engine!

Zero body rust.

Several correct period
aftermarket accessories
and dealer upgrades
have been added by original owner.

New AGC battery; New brakes; tuned;
all restoration records go with car.

All electricals correct; new at restoration and
work 100%.

During restoration all gauge dials and steering wheel
sent back to England for
restoration to like new.
New Green English hides.
Seats restored to new condition
inside out!
Serviced now by the best MG expert in Dallas.

Please ask for all the photos and
see for yourself how nice the car is.
Note how the correct grill slats match the interior color.
Note correct driving lights and
badges on correct badge bar.

clock is correct and in place, but
has stopped working. Can be repaired but totally not needed.

Inside and out!
Desirable factory custom primrose yellow color!

Not like other GM or Ford yellows!

Owner drives this car on sunny Sundays
in and around his neighborhood only,
so it is driven and not on a pedestal or
museum floor, but still looks like a
worshipped pedestal car
and a fabulous
garage queen.

Always turns heads!!

Always insulated garage kept
with auto fire suppression and humidity controls.
