Offered for your demanding consideration is this CineFlex 35mm motion picture cinema combat camera. Designed and built in the USA as a clone-copy of the German made Arriflex camera, which our soldiers would not / could not use during WW-II. Built by the Cameraflex company of New York City.

This example was built in or near 1947 so while the same battlefield version camera as the other CineFlexs’, it did not see the abuse of mid-1940s war cinematography and looks to be in pristine cosmetic condition.

This relic combines the rarity of a camera designed for use during the war and a camera of which very few were made.

This example comes complete with a large 400′ film magazine, a small 200′ film magazine, a factory motor, a factory power cable and a Schneider prime lens.

This same model camera was favored by filmmaker Russ Meyer, who became familiar with it during the war, to shoot his exploitation movies such as “SuperVixens” in 1975.

The camera makes for a gorgeous display piece and while the movement does run, the reflex mirror shutter needs repair for this camera to make moving pictures again.

An accurate vintage Professional Junior tripod and head are included with this camera. Both the camera and tripod were made in New York City.
