Submitted for your consideration is this hard to find, very original Cromwell Record Player and Reproducer. This two tone arm system allowed both amateurs and professionals in the 1930s to both play and make (cut) records. It also includes an AM radio.

These units were made by Audio Industries or General Industries for Cromwell.

This unit has all of the original electronics and parts but is only being given a gentle cosmetic restoration here so it can be proudly displayed. It will not be sold as a fully working machine. But that is possible with proper technical and electrical restoration at additional cost. Gorgeous ostrich patterned canvas surfaces as was luggage from the 30’s.

The light cosmetic restoration has been completed in our workshop, and the herewith shown photos reflect this.

We believe that a full working restoration is very possible as all the original parts are intact. Lots of patina and original bakelite. Vintage Red Tone 1921, 78 rpm record disc is included.

A wonderful display piece of Art Deco phonography.
