Submitted for your approval is this prop 70mm Mitchell motion picture tribute “camera”.
The camera body is a basic wood box hand made to the same dimensions and appearance of the real camera body with included trim elements and painted to match the finish of the actual Hollywood Mitchell cameras. There is no movement or internal mechanisms to this wood shop made body.
It does have actual Mitchell parts, such as: a 70mm Mitchell magazine, a working era correct Mitchell motor, an operating tribute 3 lens turret [with tribute lenses] that rotates and a custom built iris rod matte box combination.
Considering that a real example of this camera would be a fortune, this tribute prop example is a terrific find for display at a very fair price compared to an original piece.
