Kodak Pro Movie Camera With Wood Gunstock. Extremely Rare Wall Sculpture for Sportsmen, Circa 1930

Submitted for your approval is this Circa 1930 Eastman Kodak Cine Kodak Motion Picture 16mm Film Camera with a custom fabricated hardwood gunstock and vintage sight finder made by Lyman.

The 16mm Kodak camera is in a wonderful state with the factory original Oxblood Brown leather covered body in pristine condition. This is an extremely rare example, beautifully preserved and unrestored.

The camera runs nicely and has a partially filmed 100′ reel of undeveloped film still inside of it. Who can guess what wildlife treasures were captured on this original film. The film is vintage black and white and probably dates back to the 30’s as well. The 4.5” telephoto Kodak lens is 100% original and has a tight focus needing lubrication.

This camera and custom gunstock support was used for sports and animal cinematography back in the 1930’s where a solid stable support was needed for hand held filming of flying birds, car racing or running game and dogs in the field.

Sold as an accurate and beautiful wall sculpture display item for either Cinema Equipment collectors or hunters or armament collectors.

Makes a great library, trophy room, office display or collection piece. A true, one of a kind, Hollywood filmmaking / gun – sporting artifact.
