McIntosh STEREOPTICON Magic Slide Lantern Circa Early 20th Century

Submitted for your careful consideration is this rare McIntosh STEREOPTICON glass slide magic lantern projector.

McIntosh Optical was founded in the 1880’s by physician Dr. Lyman D. McIntosh in Chicago.

The body is nickel silver, brass and painted tinned steel All optics are included. The complete included lamp house is vacant so there is no light source. We expect the original light source was either Limelight or an oil lamp.

The body appears complete and is in excellent original condition. Included is a 2.5″ x 3″ wood slide / plate holder, original adjustment rods with wheel lock knobs, factory original pin stripped base, all optical elements, original focusing lens and the original metal factory label.

We have not seen another of this exact model McIntosh.
