Arriflex Early 16mm Motion Picture Camera, Classic Display with Tripod
The Arriflex 16ST model was introduced in 1952 by Arriflex (Arnold and Richter) of Germany. It was one of the most popular cameras ever built for professional filmmaking. Offered for your approval, this example is an earlier 16ST camera with a 400′ film magazine and the torque motor.
Included is this clean later 50’s camera, a vintage cinema display lens, a clean factory bellows matte box with beam – sunshade, an original early ‘t’ bar viewfinder eyepiece with original factory rubber eyecup, factory motor, and other accessories. The early tripod head with wood tripod will vary from the one pictured and is also included in this price. Please inquire on tripod choices.
Some minor paint touch ups will have been done to the camera body over the years. A full cosmetic detail is included with this iconic camera package. Please ask for photos of the tripod and head that may be slightly different than those shown here.
Additional (non specified) lenses, accessories and power supplies are not included but available from our stock.
An iconic example of a classic camera that mostly all vintage filmmakers have used at one time or another.
