Offered for your consideration is this very large museum quality collection of very early original ICONIC Polaroid Instant Cameras, selling one each at a time or as a full collection group. Possibly the largest collection in the world.
NONE of these early cameras had plastic body parts like the all plastic later Polaroid Cameras.

This collection consists of only the very early, large, heavy, roll film original instant models, built between 1948 and 1959 and were preserved by a collector over many years. Many vintage accessories like early factory flash and factory cases and factory booklets also available.

The stainless, chrome and mid century brown leatherette construction is astounding.
The look is deco. The rarity and value is increasing.
The massive proportions are phenomenal.
Made to last forever.

These are historic camera artifacts of the photographic art.

Edwin H. Land’s Polaroid Corporation produced light polarizing products, filters, military optics and sunglass lenses from 1932 – 1939.

He conceived of the “Instant Camera” in 1943. His Instant Picture process was announced in 1947 at the Optical Society of America Annual Conference.

On November 26, 1948 the first Model Land Camera was sold in Boston . This was the iconic prototype of the Polaroid Land Camera.

Each of our museum quality examples is sold placed on a slab of polished (light to dark finish– buyers choice) travertine stone with felt feet. Other bases such as glass and wood are also available at no extra charge. Buyers choice.

These cameras used the very early Polaroid Picture Roll Land Film, no longer available.

The individual pieces in this collection are in excellent to pristine condition and can be sold either with all original ‘as found’ dust and patina residue included or preservation cleaned and detailed with our special time tested preservation formulae that enhance and preserve but do not change the original patina.

These always sell out when we get them, so order yours today.

Individual camera (with base) prices will range, from $595.00 to $2595.00 each, depending on the specific piece.
There are 3 vintage levels of this early model: Early (1948-1953), Mid Generation (1954-1957) and Late 50’s (1957-1961).
Other early but later generation models available from $495.00.
