1903 Pony Premo No. 2 Medium Format 5″x7″ Sheet Film Portable Folding Camera

Submitted for your approval is this circa 1903 Pony Premo No. 2 medium format 5″x7″ sheet film large size portable folding camera.

This very early mahogany, brass, leather and chrome beauty, sports a GEM automatic shutter and lens, original branded leather top carry strap, spirit level, adjustable red leather bellows, original nameplate, reversible back with original ground glass, mounted bakelite focus scale and a brilliant wood and glass side finder with built in adjustable viewing sunshade.

Developed by The Rochester Optical Company in 1898 with manufacturing continued by the Eastman Kodak company in 1903. We believe this 5×7 model to be of early Kodak origin.

This larger sized view camera will be a delight for any collector or interior designer to display.
